Programmed in conjunction with Stroud Palestine Solidarity Campaign, who will introduce the film, this documentary follows the war in Gaza through a series of video calls between director Sepideh Farsi and photojournalist Fatma Hassouna, who lived alongside her family in devastated Northern Gaza. Describing the harsh living conditions and the civilian casualties, the calls are intercut with Hassouna’s photojournalism which focused on children’s suffering. On 16 April 2025 Hassouna was killed in an airstrike alongside members of her family, the day after the film was selected for the Cannes Film Festival.
