This dreamy coming of age independent drama, filmed in and around Stroud, was first released in October 2020, and enjoyed a national cinema release that was sadly curtailed by a new lockdown.
One week of school remains for Kai, an aspiring writer, and his friends. How they choose to spend this time will cost one of them their life and leave them all changed forever.
A truly independent project, Philophobia was made possible by a dozen Stroud based investors and spearheaded by production company Fablemaze. Set and filmed in writer/director Guy Davies’ home town, it is an authentic coming-of-age romance rooted in experience.
