Most of us are very experienced film watchers and have a very good understanding of how stories are told in film. Lots of people are very killed using phones to shoot simple videos. At the same time, lots of videos which are made on phones could be more engaging by applying a few of the approaches used by professional film makers. And to explore some of the apps which are on many phones.

Ways of telling stories through camera angles, sound and editing techniques.
Awareness of how different kinds of shot and camera angle are part of how we understand stories
The power of editing and thinking more about where to make the cut in a scene and how to take the audience through time and place
How sound connects with the pictures
With a little bit of expert guidance, we can pick up a set of techniques and key principles to think about which can turn recordings into short films.
