Stroud Outdoor Pool (20mins)

Premiered during the 2021 online festival, this archive and interview based film features stories from past decades about this focal point in the community, along with swimmers today passionate about the importance of the pool now and for future generations.

 

WHEN YOU CALL I SHALL COME

The Spring Tide Bore was a silent one, apart from the natural sounds of the river, the incoming sea and birds. It was both melancholic and beautiful. The bore surfers respectfully stood down.

Artists from five continents observed a small section of their sky directly above them, seen at sunrise on the Winter Solstice. Together they shared for one moment the same celestial event that had been witnessed by our ancestors over the millennia

Written and directed by Stroud-based filmmaker Molly Wise: Mallory, a reserve for the Artemis Mars Mission, finds she has two days before leaving Earth forever. Her relationship with best friend, Helen, is put to the test as they spend their remaining time together.
